Art Basel 2011: M.I.A.RTE made debut with world renowned Puerto Rican artist, Fernando Mora

Miami’s entrepreneur, Adrian Lazaga, made debut in the world of arts, with the launching of M.I.A.RTE at Art Basel 2011; the world’s premier international art show of modern and contemporary works of art.

This year, M.I.A.RTE’s exhibition presented recent works by renowned Puerto Rican artist, Fernando Mora,  at 247 NW 25St in Wynwood Art District in Miami, from December 1st to December 4th, 2011.

Fernando Mora has become well known for his female figures in a number of different wet and mixed medias and his work for famed personalities such as: Tego Calderon (hip hop singer, composer), Silverio Perez (comedian, TV personality), Tommy Torres (singer, composer), Carlos Fortuno, (owner of Music Xpress) and Paco Lopez (Wisin & Yandel producer) among many others.

Guests enjoyed four days of art, music and fabulous drinks, sponsored by Steves’s Margaritas.

The artist Fernando Mora, will donate one of his best pieces to M.I.L.A Foundation in Miami. Piece that will be on silent auction on January 27th , 2011 at Miami Fashion Spotlight- The Night! at the Spa  Water Lounge at Viceroy Hotel in Brickell.
