Miami base designer, Lisu Vega continues to gain a great deal of attention from the fashion industry and art with her fabulous eco-friendly proposals.

The talented “designer in progress” (as she calls herself) will present a special proposal at FUSION, the project of “Save Imagination Foundation” at the renowned “ART BASEL 2012” on December 6th, 2012 at the L-M-N-T located at 59 NW 36 Street in Miami at 8 PM.

“For some time I had the need to record photographically, spaces rich in texture and color in Miami. There it came the proposal to show and record space debris, which we all call trash, and re-use it to create other items,” said Vega. “My interest in revealing the root of my work, which is recycling, prompted me to create photographic pieces that will be exhibited on the models throughout my show.”

Vega will share this ambitious project with “Art of Shade” and “Art Institute of FL” in a fundraising night that will bring together fashion, photography and media / art at our world-renowned “ART BASEL 2012.”

“Every day my interest grows in developing a unique concept on Miami dwelling; contemplation sites, garbage, recycling and people, are things that drive me to create pieces of art for the body to be worn,” Vega added. “When Lila Nikole asked me to participate in this project for “Save Imagination” which helps children to get materials and develop their creativity, I immediately thought that this project is a unique piece of “fashion-art;” the signal to present my show!
