Fashion Group International of South Florida presented ‘Designed in Miami II’ during ‘Funkshion Fashion Week’

Last week, we were invited to attend “Designed in Miami II”, an interesting fashion event where we could learn how to build a sustainable business platform in our Magic City. The invitation-only event was hosted by Fashion Group International of South Florida as part of Funkshion Fashion Week 2016 at 255 Studio, located at 255 NW 25 Street in Windwood.

This second edition of “Designed in Miami” brought panel discussions with renowned fashion designers ( based in Miami) to the stage, such as Alessandra Gold (creative director of Kruzin), Fabrice Tardieu (founder & designer of the brand “Fabrice Tardieu”) and Simonett Pereira (founder & designer of Style Mafia).

With Pamela Fuentes acting as Moderator, the panelists shared inspired stories about their success and what it takes to thrive in this environment, along with how to effectively design and produce in Miami… among other questions that guests could ask them directly.

The event was very chic, full of local fashion professionals and fashionistas—we had a lot of fun sharing our network and meeting influential people from around our community.

'Fashion Group International of South Florida' presentó ‘Designed in Miami II’ durante‘Funkshion Fashion Week’

La semana pasada, fuimos invitados a asistir a “Designed Miami II”, un interesante evento de moda donde pudimos aprender cómo construir una plataforma de negocios sostenible en nuestra mágica ciudad. El evento (sólo por invitación), fue organizado por “Fashion Group International of South Florida” como parte de “Funkshion Fashion Week 2016” en 255 Studio, ubicado en el 255 NW 25 Street, en Windwood.

Esta segunda edición de ” Designed in Miami” (Diseñado en Miami) trajo paneles de discusión con reconocidos diseñadores de moda (residenciados en Miami) al stage, tales como: Alessandra Gold (director creativo de Kruzin), Fabrice Tardieu (fundador y diseñador de la marca “Fabrice Tardieu”) y Simonett Pereira (fundadora y diseñadora de la marca ” Style Mafia“).

Con Pamela Fuentes en calidad de moderadora, los panelistas compartieron historias sobre su éxito y lo que se necesita para prosperar en este entorno, junto al tema de diseñar y producir en Miami … entre otras preguntas que los invitados pudieron hacer directamente al panel.

El evento fue resultó muy elegante, lleno de profesionales locales del mundo de la moda y “fashionistas”, nos divertimos un montón compartiendo nuestro network con personalidades influyentes de nuestra comunidad.
