Catwalk for Charity announced super model Lydia Hearst as host of this year’s event. The annual charity event will take place on Sunday, June 8 at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Miami.

The event will benefit Breakfast with Santa, an organization that supports underprivileged children in Miami’s Little Haiti and neighboring cities, as well as various towns in Haiti. Hearst will be the recipient of the Humanitarian Award by the charity organization.

Joining her for this benefit are Joanna Krupa, supermodel and cast member of Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM) who will also be the honorary chair and will receive a philanthropic award by the organization; Tatyana Ali, American actress and R&B singer; Cynthia Bailey, supermodel and cast member of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA); Karent Sierra, TV personality of the Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM); Katrina Campins, celebrity realtor; and fashion expert, Jilian Lourdes Sanz. Music will be provided by celebrity DJ Michelle Pooch.

Actor Brian J. White will serve as the Master of Ceremony for the third annual Catwalk for Charity. The event will commence with an exclusive VIP cocktail reception, plus a highly anticipated silent auction followed by a sit down champagne brunch. Catwalk for Charity will present an artistic runway show; showcasing the 2014 Spring Collections of famed fashion designers Nicole Miller and Gustavo Cadile. Hair and Make-up for models and celebrities will be provided by this year’s title sponsor, the Patrick Taleb Salon.

Catwalk for Charity’s main focus is to bring awareness to the challenges of Haitian children in Miami’s “Little Haiti” district and to those in Haiti. Proceeds from Catwalk for Charity will support the annual back-to-school distribution, the holiday celebration and toy drive to these underprivileged children. For many orphans, this may be the only way they can get much needed school supplies and Christmas presents. As many of these children continue to face traumas, they are also victims of violence, family separation, and social instability due to the 2010 earthquake which has left over 450,000 children displaced.
General admission tickets start at $150 and include the champagne brunch, fashion show, gift bag and access to the silent auction which will feature art, fashion and exclusive getaways. Runway front row seats are available for $250 and include access to the VIP reception. For more information or media inquiries, contact Marcela Rubiano at TARA, Ink. at 305-864-3434 ext. 157.
