About The Collection.
For this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Giorgio Armani was the only designer that robed more stars, hosts, nominees, and award winners than any other fashion house. The Italian label has just presented its new fall-winter menswear at the Milan Fashion Week. Even though Armani has re-interpreted many classic looks, it remains true to its principles. Instead of ties, men wear bow ties, instead of cotton, velvet is the material of choice again, and the hat, too, can come into picture again during the dark season.
Thick fur scarves frame the face and give a feminine touch the look, whereas traveler hats remind us of the 1940s. The collection is characterized by a dark color scheme in grey, black or olive green. The main garments for men such as the bomber jackets, pullover, parkas and trench coats come with a casual silhouette in classic cuts and luxurious materials. One of the mannequins wears a leather jacket combined with a pair of wool pants. The fur breast pocket not only offers storage space but stylishly ensures additional warmth. The cool pilot glasses lend the look that special touch.
The pants are loose and swirl around the leg – a strong contrast to the skinny jeans, the must-have for the fashion-conscious man!
