What was hot, cool, good and best?
Hot: The swimwear designs Zella Machado Swimwear. The young designer, Bruna Santana is coming back to MBIFW 2012 with more daring designs with her Latin style as her signature.
Cool: Celebrities, models, editors, photographers, among others, were gathered with their best outfits, giving the atmosphere a fashionable taste.
Good: Five stars to the organization of MBIFW- every guest was able to meet the designers in person while they were showcasing their collections. Fabulous Job!
Best: The designers as always. Our 3 top favorites:
1- Miami’s Top designer, Viviana Gabeiras and her line “Petit Pois”-her designs in light fabrics with a lot of movement are always fashionable “IN”. Gabeiras also gave us a little sneak peek of her collection that will be presented on March 21st. The talented designer was inspired this time by English musician, singer and songwriter, Florence Welch and the way Welch gives a message through her songs, motivating feelings about the earth and nature- the perfect colors of Gabeiras’s designs.
2-Eduardo de las Casas gained a lot of attention with his beautiful muse, Silvana Camargo. De las Casas showcased very elegant “haute couture” designs in animal prints and dark colors.
3-Emerging Jewelry Designer of 2011, Maria Hamilton, came back this year with elegant and classic designs in metals, diamonds and exotic stones that took everybody’s breath away. The launching of Hamilton’s collection called “Evolution” will be on March 21st to 24th, 2012.
