Jencarlos Canela to Receive 'LA MUSA 2014 CONQUISTADOR AWARD'‏

Renowned singer/songwriter and actorJencarlos Canela will receive the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame “La Musa 2014 Conquistador Award” at the LA MUSA AWARDS on October 18 in Miami Beach. Canela is currently promoting his new album, “JeN”, and preparing to star in Univision’s new reality TV show “Va Por Ti.” The multi-talented performer is also finalizing details for his next concert tour scheduled to begin before the end of the year. Last year’s “La Musa 2013 Conquistador Award” honoree was multi-Grammy-winning recording artist and visionary producer Draco Rosa

Lolita De La Colina (México) * Rafael Pérez Botija (Spain)

The LA MUSA AWARDS will recognize these legendary music creators and their unforgettable songs written in Spanish and Portuguese as well as feature moving tributes and musical performances by some of the industry’s most important talents. Additional special honorees and presenters will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
