Carlos Miele Debuts 2013 Fall/Winter Collection at Miami Fashion Week

On March 20th, Miami Fashion Week celebrated its 15th Anniversary by honoring Brazilian designer Carlos Miele with the “International Designer of the Year” award. Miele also exclusively debuted his 2013 Fall/Winter Collection at the event.

The Miami Beach Convention Center had a full house in honor of Carlos Miele. Guests included singer and actress Paulina Rubio, The cast of the Real Housewives of Miami, Latin Grammy winning singer Luis Fonsi, People en Español’s fashion and beauty director Kika Rocha, former Miss Universe Lupita Jones, Michelle Salas, actress Ana Obregon, actor Omar Germenes, soccer star Jorge Bernal, Univision host Rodner Figueroa, and actress Geraldine Bazan.

Miele, known for his creative convergence of cut and design, followed this year’s Miami Style Showcase featuring designers Julian Chang, Art of Shade by Kayce Armstrong, Fabrizio de Castro, Nicolas Felizola, Viviana G. for Petit Pois, and Rosa Clara. They are among the many designers from over 25 countries participating in Miami Fashion Week, a four-day Sobol-Perry Fashion Production featuring twelve multi-designer runway shows with collections ranging from swimwear to eveningwear to menswear.
