“Psychological abuse hurts,” says Katty Llinas, author of “Fui Reina y Abandone el Castillo” (I was a Queen and I abandoned my kingdom).
Llinas wrote her book based on her personal experience, relating in its pages how she left her castle to go for the peace that she needed. She also talks about her own metamorphosis and how she felt that tentacles were wrapping her in a psychological abuse, describing every hurtful word and how she could get rid of this silent aggressor.
The title of the book was based on her joy of great luxuries, comforts and pleasures worthy of a queen, and how these things kept her in miserable feelings, such as: being held captive, tied to aggression, immaturity, arrogance, pride, and vanity.
Llinas brings a message: that every woman has the ability to turn a negative experience into a success story. “With my book I began the fight against all forms of abuse, it’s time to say: enough is enough!” said Limas.
“Abuse should not be allowed in any form. I am sending a sisterly hug to every woman injured and encourage them to seek help to break the cycle of abuse. In every relationship love, understanding, and respect should predominate.”Today, Katty Llimas is promoting her second book, “Empieza desde cero,” which provides 24 steps to leave an emotional darkness and re-focus into a new and better direction.
