A couple weeks ago, I was invited to the presentation of Aquis Towels at the Miami Beach Edition.
This new towel that promises to dry your hair fast, with as little friction as possible, gently wraps around and quickly wicks away far more water than a rough cotton bath towel.
I have to admit I was a little sceptic, initially, but when Britta Cox, Founder of Aquis, explained how vulnerable your hair can be when wet and how drying your hair naturally can make more difference in your hair’s health, I fell in love with the concept!
I could not wait to try it and see how it works…
After a couple of weeks, I can tell the benefits:
- The towel dries your hair fast from the roots to the ends (no more dripping water).
- Great solution for people always in a hurry.
- Saving time with comfort… you can walk around with your hair wrapped and have breakfast, do your make-up, check your emails…
- The towel reduces frizz (here in Miami, frizzy hair is a major problem).
- Perfect for women with little time, but love to look great.

Tendencias Cabello: Aquis, la toalla del futuro
Hace un par de semanas, fui invitada a la presentación de la toalla Aquis en el hotel Miami Beach Edition.
Esta toalla promete secar el cabello rápido, con la menor fricción posible y absorber rápidamente el agua (mejor que una toalla de algodón).
Tengo que admitir que estaba un poco escéptica al principio, pero cuando Britta Cox, fundadora de Aquis, explicó lo vulnerable que el cabello puede ser cuando está mojado y cómo secar el cabello de forma natural puede hacer una gran diferencia en la salud de nuestro cabello, ¡me enamoré del concepto!
Estaba ansiosa por probar esta nueva tecnología en toallas y ver cómo funcionaba …
Después de un par de semanas, puedo decir los beneficios:
– La toalla seca el cabello mucho más rápido desde las raíces hasta las puntas (se acabó el goteo de agua).
– Es una gran solución para la gente que siempre tiene prisa.
– Se ahorra tiempo con comodidad… se puede caminar con el cabello envuelto en la toalla o turbante (cualquiera sea la opción) mientras desayunas, te maquillas, revisas tus correos electrónicos, etc…
– La toalla reduce el encrespamiento o frizz (aquí en Miami, el frizz es un grave problema).
– Es ideal para las mujeres con poco tiempo, pero que adoran lucir bien, a toda hora.
Un consejito: después de utilizar este turbante o toalla para ahorrar tiempo, les recomiendo utilizar el “Frizz easy air-dry waves” de John Frieda y va-va-Voom … tendrás un hermoso cabello ondulado en poco tiempo.
Me gustaría terminar mi review con una frase muy bonita dicha por la creadora de este producto “la belleza no debe ser complicada” y estamos de acuerdo con ella.
