The longest-running Victoria’s Secret angel, Adriana Lima was joined by Ocean Drive Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Jared Shapiro and Publisher, Courtland Lantaff to celebrate her fabulous cover of the magazine’s March issue on March 22nd at KOMODO.
Lima arrived at the red carpet, wearing a shimmery cocktail dress by Micha paired with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. She looked as radiant and glowing as ever, rocking a sleek high ponytail.
In addition, she posed for the cameras, giving us her signature sexy look: Eyes squinting just about right and a plumpy pout!
Adriana Lima calls Miami home!
At the red carpet, our team of MFS had a little chit-chat with the bombshell where she talked about why she calls Miami home: “Because it reminds me about my native land of Brazil. There are a lot of Brazilians living in Miami; I love the people, the ocean and the weather. It’s like home!” added Lima.
She also revealed that she loved roaming the artistic streets of Wynwood and admiring the art. “I am a lot more laid back than people think,” said Lima smiling.
The super model gave us some advice such as: “I really don’t pay attention to what people think; I just try to be authentic and show a little bit of my roots and values. I am trying to be true to myself!”
“Never give up on your dreams!”
For aspiring artists and people who share the same dream with her, Lima said: “Never give up on your dream, just keep going. It’s simple if you love what you do.”
Also, when we asked her what are some of the hardest things about being a model, the Victoria’s Secret model said: “There are challenges sometimes, but I like challenges! It makes things exciting. But honestly there hasn’t been any crazy yet.”

Regarding the inside of Ocean Drive’s March issue, we loved that Lima opens-up with the printed magazine talking about her spirituality, being a single mom, love and Victoria’s Secret– saying, “My goal is to do the fashion show till I’m 40, at least. Or [as-long-as] gravity is on my side.”

The model has been with the Victoria’s Secret brand for 17 years. We still remember when she was chosen as an Angel back in 1999!
