Ocean Drive magazine celebrated its April issue with cover star Juanes, the two time Grammy and 21 time Latin Grammy award-winning musician, singer/song-writer and producer, on April 20, 2016. The invitation-only event took place at French 27, the new culinary destination featuring contemporary French cuisine, where Miami’s style-setters and tastemakers enjoyed savory hors d’oeuvres paired with specialty wines by Artesa and Anna de Codorniu Brut.
At the event, the world-renowned rock star stepped out with his wife, actress and model Karen Martinez and was joined by Editor-in-Chief, Jared Shapiro and Publisher, Courtland Lantaff.
Recognized as one of the most beloved Latin Rock Stars, the Miami native opened up to Ocean Drive about his first television show, Persiguiendo el Sol (Chasing the Sun), what it was like to play alongside The Rolling Stones, John Legend and other musical icons, how fatherhood has changed him and his version of living the Miami lifestyle.
The celebration debuted the glossy’s April issue as well as paid tribute to the musician’s pioneering charity, Fundación Mi Sangre. Juanes founded Fundación Mi Sangre more than 10 years ago to address the root causes of violence of Colombia’s armed conflict using methodologies based around art and play to build a culture of peace.

Juanes Celebra Portada de Revista “Ocean Drive” en Restaurante “French 27”
La revista Ocean Drive celebró su edición de abril con la estrella de la portada, el cantante Juanes ( ganador de dos premios Grammy y 21va vez del Grammy Latino como músico- cantante – compositor y productor, el 20 de abril del 2016). El evento (sólo por invitación), se llevó a cabo en el restaurante “French 27” , el nuevo destino culinario que ofrece cocina francesa contemporánea, donde invitados disfrutaron sabrosos entremeses acompañados con vinos especiales por Artesa y Anna de Codorniu Brut.
En el evento, la estrella de rock de fama mundial salió con su esposa, la actriz y modelo Karen Martínez y estuvo acompañado por el editor en jefe, Jared Shapiro y Publisher, Courtland Lantaff.
Reconocido como uno de las estrellas de rock Latino más queridos, el nativo de Miami contó a Ocean Drive acerca de su primer programa de televisión, Persiguiendo el Sol (Chasing the Sun), lo que fue tocar al lado de los Rolling Stones, John Legend y otros iconos musicales, cómo la paternidad lo ha cambiado y su versión de vivir el estilo de vida Miamense.
En la celebración hizo debut la brillante edición de abril mientras se hizo homenaje a la “Fundación Mi Sangre”–Juanes fundó esta organización hace más de 10 años para hacer frente a las causas de violencia del conflicto armado en Colombia utilizando como base, metodologias en torno al arte y el juego para construir una cultura de paz.
