One fabulous thing that happens to our city of Miami during Swim Week is it brings a lot of beautiful people together. It’s amazing how easily you can run into a famous super model attending a fashion show just next to you…it’s how we met renowned model and fashion icon, Vesta Lugg.
We found out she would visit Bloomingdales Aventura the next day for a beauty day with her mom. She was invited by our common friend, Jonathan Torres, Miami Tourism/International Marketing Manager. Of course, we got invited too. After all, we write about fashion!
A beauty day with Vesta Lugg
Vesta Lugg and “Barb”, which is the name she calls her mom, enjoyed their ultimate afternoon of beauty. Starting with a deep facial courtesy of Clarins, followed by a fashion styling session by Vesta’s newly discovered brand “Whistles”, and ending with a full make up session by her one and only favorite brand MAC Cosmetics.
Th Blonde Bombshell finalized her visit by having a personal store tour given by Jonathan and, she had the opportunity to meet and greet Alan Svensen, VP-General Manager and the entire crew at MAC Cosmetics.
Moët Hennessy USA, represented by Veuve Clicquot, once again partnered with Bloomingdale’s Aventura (they sponsored their last year fashion show Fall Experience) guaranteeing Vesta and her mom an afternoon of stylish opulence with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne in hand.
Vesta Lugg and her TV Show about fashion
Vesta was born in Canada, but moved to Chile until 2012. Her modeling career started at age 5 with clients such as Avon and Everlast. She also studied acting at Lewis Boumander Acting Studio in Toronto. In 2014, Vesta was cast as the lead role Julie in a full-length feature action film Blood Sugar Baby. In 2014/2015, she co-wrote a five song EP available on iTunes, Spotify and Deezer.
In 2014, Vesta became a fashion icon in Chile. Consequently, the gorgeous model was cast as a main panelist on a Friday night prime time live TV show, Primer Plano, to be part of a new segment dedicated to fashion and trends. This evolved into a new live show on Saturday nights, “Maldita Moda”, using the same cast with expanded content.
