The association ‘Le Mani di Napoli’ is once again at Pitti Uomo 104 with an unmissable appointment set for 4 p.m. on Wednesday 14th June in the Sala della Scherma of the Fortezza da Basso. A round table on the theme “Naples inside. Naples on top”, which will see as speakers the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, the Rector of the University Federico II Matteo Lorito, the President of Pitti Immagine, Antonio De Matteis, the mayor of Florence Dario Nardella, the chef Gennarino Esposito. Moderating the fashion journalist and presenter Cinzia Malvini.
Naples: A New Powerful Eruption
Naples is the City of the World, always open to diversity, always welcoming. A new powerful eruption is underway in Naples. Day and night, a lava flow of tourists flows along ancient routes and digs new ones. Nobody did anything to attract them, at least not today. “Naples is also expressed in its globally recognized intangible heritage. The latter are kept and transmitted by the great Neapolitan artisans who operate in various sectors, from fashion to food, to crib art. But Naples is also a large university city which celebrates 800 years since its foundation. ‘Le Mani di Napoli’ and Ateneo Federico II have decided to collaborate to promote the heritage of the artisan hands of Naples, for the benefit of the city and the image of our country,” added Matteo Lorito.

Neapolitan Style
In the second part, however, space will be given to the exhibition of the Disciplinary of Neapolitan tailoring, a document that will revolutionize the sector. After having identified the foundations of the Neapolitan style, ‘Le Mani di Napoli’ undertakes to codify and respect the traditional processes that interpret its spirit, thus achieving results of maximum aesthetic, cultural and material value. Only an authoritative and convinced association could go down this path of transparency which will bring benefits to everyone and damages only to those who thrive on ambiguity.
During the event, awards will be given to the dean tailors: Antonio Liverano, Carmelo Crimi. Plaques in memory of the founders of Calabrese 1924, Sartoria Formosa, Barbarulo Cufflinks.
