Color a Cause is a second annual event that will serve as a follow-up to a spectacular fete, which hosted over 400 of Miami’s most affluent. The evening featured artistically enhanced works by local photographer Joey Mugica in collaboration with Yobe photography. Last year, 40 of the city’s most influential women were celebrated with themed portraits shot and then unveiled at this affair.

From celebrities to socialites, media personalities to philanthropists, the event was a great springboard to create an annual awareness event celebrating individuals via works of art. Many well-known faces were present last year and pledged support for this year’s function.

Taking place Wednesday, May 29th from 7:30-10:00 PM, this year’s event will carry a theme of “Power 20” focusing on twenty of Miami’s most influential figures. Again, the concept is to highlight these individuals who have become part of the patchwork of our society. Hosted BY Six in the Mix, channel 6 personality Roxanne Vargas, the event will feature surprise guests and a welcome by beloved crooner Maryel Epps.

The red carpet event will take place at The Hoxton located in the heart of Brickell and feature a cocktail reception, passed hors de oeuvres and the unveiling of the featured twenty portraits. This year’s charity beneficiary is Neat Stuff for Kids www.neatstuffhelpskids.org
